The Scoter just keep on coming

In yesterdays blog i said it would be nice to get past 1000 Scoter in the day, we did!
Mark continued the count and by 8.20 a total of 1059 had passed
I was back on my own again today and it looks like being another great Scoter day, by 7.00 id seen 806. Lets hope somebody else gets in the Obs today

As we now all know that Tern didn't come past the Obs yet
A big thank You to my old mate Steely and his team on the Farnes, it was nice to catch up with him yesterday, shame i didn't catch up with the bird
The Farnes team have done a great job looking after all the visiting birders and putting in a lot of hours to help everyone
Its a shame it didn't show until i had left looking like a drowned rat
