Red sky in the morning, birders warning

114 Manxies, Med Gull and 2 Arctic Skuas passed Whitburn early morning. Yes the red sky was a warning of slim pickings on the birding front. Rob Stonehouse joined me again this morning and did his best to liven things up. It was dead calm with nothing to encourage movement and the bright sun made viewing difficult, it was ok but slow lets hope for better tomorrow, I'm praying for clouds
