a tern for the better

272 Arctic Terns,160 Manxies 2 Arctic Skuas and a Med Gull passed Whitburn by 9.45
It has been a poor year for terns from the Obs this year with very few recorded, not to mention the Bridled Tern that passed us unnoticed on at least 3 occasions. But today all that changed with good numbers of stunning Arctic Terns and a few Common and Sandwich as well
Mark and Steve joined me this morning and despite difficult conditions we had a great watch. Steve being the star of the moment calling a Willow Tit that went passed and a new Obs year tick making it 134
