Great northern Diver, Med Gull and Bonxie passed Whitburn by 7am but only 40 Manxies on a quiet passage day. After a lovely weekend and a few to many bottles i slept in and so did the birds
All the species were quieter than normal except Sandwich Terns. Luckily a few Quality birds went passed including a Great norther Diver flying south with a Red throat. The size difference is obvious and the large flat head and geet big feet gave it away, a nice summer plumage bird
