22 White beaked Dolphins and two 2nd summer Med Gulls passed Whitburn this morning
It had been a quiet morning by recent standards. I was joined by a new Obs life tick Rob Stonehouse.
The sea was flat calm and silver and as the cloud burned off and bright sun prevailed getting any detail on passing birds was difficult. Rob called the Dolphins as they slowly moved north. Hopefully they will hang about in the area as they did last July they were certainly the stars of the show
