Skua surprise......

3 Bonxies and an Arctic Skua passed Whitburn Obs by 07.30 this morning. It was a nice surprise to call my first Arctic Skua of the year. Its been northerly for a few days now but it has not produced much quality, the extra strength today did the trick. As soon as i sat down i had a Bonxie going north close inshore with a few more before i had to leave for work. I left Magic Mark in the obs so hopefully he will get a few more
This is what we saw in order of appearance by 07.30
