Gilbert O'Sullivan

8 Red throated Divers passed Whitburn Obs early morning were the only birds of note on a quite sea watch. Over 30 observers visited the Obs over the last few days but it was 'alone again naturally' this morning. You can feel the Autumnal chill and my morning watches are getting shorter as the days close in. I didn't see much at all but the forecasted northerly flow over the next few days may improve things.

Dunlin 8s
Arctic Tern 1s
Cormorant 2n 63s
Common Tern 4n 4s
Redshank 3s
Eider 4s
Red th Diver 5n 3s
Common Scoter 6n
Teal 3n

you might notice no Sandwich Terns!
