Iceland Gull, Black throated Diver and Med Gull passed Whitburn Obs by 11 am today. Unlucky Dave joined me mid watch and was lucky to see the Black throat as it went south close inshore. It was a much better watch than i expected with loads of gulls going south close inshore. I was mainly looking with bins to check the gulls which is how i saw the Iceland, so who knows what went past further out. Red throated Divers started to move south with 20 being the largest group, was a super watch. My obs year list hit the heady heights of 62
