1 Little Auk and 5 Little Gulls passed Whitburn Obs by 10.45 today. I was joined by Saint Mark ,Boy Wonder and Stevie Thunder, the Birtley Bishop put in his annual appearance. Its South Tyneside bird race day today and hoards of them arrived hoping for race ticks, but not much was passing although Little and Med Gull would have been a bonus for them. Then just as quick as they appeared they left us to peace and quiet.
