An adult Mediterranean Gull went north past Whitburn Obs by 7am this morning. Black headed Gull numbers have increased this week and i always check them for something better and today it was a cracking Med Gull. One of these days i will nail that Bonaparte's past the Obs.
Sandwich Terns normally pass at 100-200 at least in my early morning watch, don't know what happened today but they were well down
