Obs list update.....

2 adult Little Gulls went north past Whitburn Obs early morning again they must roost nearby. Good light and a nice calm sea deserved something special but sadly on my shift it was not to be. My Obs year list is 138, by the same date last year i had seen another 16 species that i haven't connected with so far this year
On the plus side I've seen 8 species this year that didn't figure in my 167 for last years total so its all still to play for.
I did get a moth lifer by the Obs this morning, a Cinnabar Moth, but id rather have seen a Greenshank!
This is what i saw in order of appearance

06.45 2 Dolphin sp just to the north and mid distance i could see the large sickle fins on the surface but not enough of the animals to be certain of White beaked
