20 ArcticTerns and a Whimbrel passed Whitburn Obs in four hours this morning. Saint Mark joined me today in more pleasant conditions. Early passage quietened off by 8ish but we did have a little vis mig. Lesser Whitethroat and Yellow Wagtail were new for my Obs year list that now stands at circa 217, only 50 more needed to match last years mega total. It was my earliest star of the year and this is what we saw in order of appearance
