Smew, Goldeneye and Scaup passed Whitburn Obs by 11am a canny selection of ducks. Saint Mark joined me today back from his trip to Peru with tales and pics of Inca Terns and Franklin's Gull's. He more than made up for the absence of Magic Mark who is away this weekend when he called the Smew going south close inshore. It was a new Obs year tick bringing my total to 166. Hoggie and Pink Floyd were late arrivals
