Slavonian Grebe went north past Whitburn Obs by 07.15 today. It felt like summer had arrived this morning, bright sun not much wind and a calm sea perfect for seeing Grebes. Slav Grebe is an Obs mega with a couple a year at best so i was well pleased to watch one flying north early morning. A few more Terns are starting to move and with a good mix of wildfowl species thrown in it was a good watch, just the bright sun spoiling it
