2 Great crested Grebes were the best i could muster from my sea watch in over 3 hours this morning. I misjudged the weather and expected it to be warmer than it was so by the time my coffee was finished and the sun came out at 9 0'clock i was brass monkeys....Low cloud and mist with a light south westerly wind produced what you would expect, not a lot. I did manage a year tick when 6 Long tailed Tits hung around for a while, i hadn't previously ticked them until October!. It was a mixed bag and this is what i saw in order of appearance
