Red necked Grebe and Roseate Tern passed Whitburn Obs today amongst a host of quality birds. Magic Mark was back to catch the last day of the northerlies, i joined him on the last day of my long weekend and Stoney was in the house. I can see i am going to enjoy this semi retirement, 4 days off 3 at work ,canny. Hoggie made an earlier than usual appearance but sadly did not catch up with a Long tail for his year tick.
