A Black throated Diver and 34 Red throats passed Whitburn Obs by 11.00 on a quiet morning. Magic and Saint Mark joined me and later Pink Floyd. We gave it our best shot but very little was moving. Black throated Diver is a scarce bird even at Whitburn so it was great to see my second of the year. It got me thinking wouldn't it be nice to have another White billed.......
